Jan B. Wolverton practices in all areas of real estate related law, providing services and advice in land use planning, conveyancing, loan closings, insurance and construction litigation, as well as estate planning and administration, domestic relations, and extensive civil trial work.

Attorney Wolverton is a graduate of Harvad University and Harvard Law School, cum laude, where he was Executive Editor of the Harvard Environmental Law Review.  He has written extensively on environmental and land use issues and is a co-author of The Law of Hazardous Waste, published by Matther Bender & Sons.

Attorney Wolverton served as clerk for an Administrative Law Judge at the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection before joining the Boston firm of Goodwin Procter, where he concentrated in land use, hazardous waste cleanup and insurance law, representing the firm’s multinational clients.

He has practiced in southeastern Massachusetts and Cape Cod for over thirty years. Attorney Wolverton is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, a Fellow of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation, and is licensed to practice in both Massachusetts and federal courts.
